We've put together for you an essential hospital packing list for labour and birth. Various hospitals provide essentials for you and baby and equipment to make your stay comfortable, so it's always a good idea to ask your hospital what they have available for you during labour and and once the baby is born. Most hospitals provide an orientation day where you walk around with Hospital representative who will show you around. You can also consider keeping some additional supplies in a handy bag at home for your partner or family member to bring in the day after the birth rather than trying to carry a really heavy bag in with you whilst you are in labour.
