Hello from Millian Lloyd Jones
Welcome to Mini Milli! I know that you want information, not ‘spin’, so I’ll just tell you a bit about myself, and the company, and then you can make up your own mind about the products we offer. Mini Milli was launched in September 2007. The past few years have been an exciting time for Mini Milli – and for me. Like so many mothers today, I’ve balanced a high-pressure career with having children. Mini Milli is my personal adventure, built on my own experience as a mother-to-be and as a working mother in the Information Technology field who has a love of style and a need for practicality. At Mini Milli, fashion meets function, because those elements are essential in my life and that of so many corporate Mums.
When I had my first child, my son Daniel, I began to collect advice, inspiration and motivational support to start Mini Milli as a business and as a life’s passion. My goal was to create a portfolio of items specifically designed for fashion-conscious women on their way to the maternity ward, women who wanted items that both met their immediate needs for hospital and home, functional bags and accessories would travel forward with them in to new motherhood as stylish, multi-purpose accessories. I listened to mothers and fathers of all ages - and grandparents, too - to find or to specially create items that are truly useful and of the highest quality and design. I have tried to keep an eye out for impeccable craftsmanship, and excellence in organic and fair-trade merchandise.
My husband Edward and I have just welcomed our new daughter Jade to our family in May 2006. My pregnancy with Jade, and the first few months of her care (and my own!) has provided the ultimate, hands-on test run of the Mini Milli range. Everything you see on this site is tried, tested, and triple-checked by me as a new mother – and as a busy, results-oriented corporate woman.
